Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in Playwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to create efficient testing strategies and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Duties
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
Implement and maintain test frameworks to support UI and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
Work collaboratively with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
Perform root cause analysis of failed test cases and work with developers to resolve issues.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for manual and automated testing.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform testing coverage.
Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on Playwright.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test script development.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools for web applications.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
