At our North-Osaka Office, we are seeking a motivated and organized Sourcing Team Leader to join our growing team and contribute to the successful execution of our projects.
Job Overview:
As a Sourcing Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team in planning, executing, and monitoring projects from initiation to completion. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication will be essential in mentoring their growth and ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist project managers in coordinating project activities, tasks, and resources to ensure projects are on track and within scope.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, distribute project-related information and updates as needed.
- Task Tracking: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and update project timelines and task lists.
- Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying project risks and issues, and collaborate with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Meeting Leadership: Schedule and organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and facilitate the dialogue. Ensure follow-up on action items.
- Resource Allocation: Assist in allocating project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality control by reviewing project deliverables for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and general office support to maintain an organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Native-level Fluency in English: should have a high level of proficiency in the English language, enabling to communicate effectively in written and spoken English within a business setting. Can handle tasks such as leading client meetings, negotiating with vendor executives, conducting presentations, and engaging in fluid group discussions in English.
- Fluency in Japanese: This includes the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend Japanese at a level that allows for effective communication in a professional or business context. can comfortably participate in meetings, write reports, etc. without the aid of AI or internet tools.
- Translation and Interpretation: May have the ability to translate documents or provide interpretation services when necessary, bridging the language gap in international business settings.
· ・Cross-Cultural Communication: Can effectively navigate cross-cultural situations and adapt their communication style as needed to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with project management systems such as Prince2 and Agile
- Familiarity with project management software such as Asana and Trello
- Experienced Leading a Team of coworkers
- Experienced in Regional Regulatory Compliance
- Experienced in Manufacturing or Mass Production
- Experienced in Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Logistics
