Summary

The Quality Control Administrator supports fabrication quality control, planning, and production functions. This role works closely with members of the team to organize and sort physical and digital inspection documentation. Daily creation of production paperwork and assigning routers within scheduling software.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties
Submit U1A forms to EDT for registration.
Prepare vessel documentation for AI sign-off (U1A)
Create TWI Pressure Vessel Data Sheets as Required.
Create TWI Spooling Data Sheets as a backup for the Quality Control Administrator – Fabrication when Required.
Create nameplates for vessel fabrication and assign NB numbers.
Create and review Travelers for new releases.
Review and release drawings; print and revise as needed.
Pull NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) reports for vessel Travelers.
Perform visual inspections of pressure vessels under pressure prior to AI-witnessed hydro testing.
Verify gauges and chart recorders are within calibration dates.
Mail partial U2A forms to the National Board (NB)
Conduct final review of all completed pressure vessel Traveler packages prior to submission to Document Control
Qualifications
Technical degree or certificate from a two-year college is preferred.
Two years related field preferred.
Related experience as an administrative specialist preferred.
Related experience in engineering and fabrication business preferred.
Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook) is required.
Having a positive attitude, a desire to learn & be challenged and a willingness to work hard is required.
Ability to prioritize the work in a multi-tasking environment.
Ability to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and action.
Strong ability to solve problems.
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills.
Must be self-motivated.
Must be a team player
Physical Requirements

Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic and international travel is possible on occasion.
