Job Overview :
The Keg Maintenance Operator is responsible for the upkeep and repair of kegs used in the beverage industry. This includes performing regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance to ensure all kegs are in good working condition and meet safety and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of kegs for signs of wear, damage, and potential leaks.
Perform cleaning and sanitizing of kegs according to industry standards to ensure product quality and safety.
Carry out repairs on damaged kegs, including replacing valves, seals, and other parts as necessary.
Ensure kegs are properly pressurized and free of defects that could affect product distribution.
Assist in inventory management of kegs, ensuring adequate stock is available for production and distribution.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to keg equipment and machinery.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures when handling equipment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications or training in maintenance is a plus).
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to operate and maintain related machinery and tools.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to keg maintenance.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy kegs.
Preferred Skills:
Forklift operation certification.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work in a warehouse or production environment, which may involve exposure to loud noises and heavy lifting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
