AJ Associates Inc. is a manufacture of aerospace parts and assemblies. We are currently looking for an entry level quality control assistant
Essential Functions:
– Receiving inspection and verification of certifications
– Bubble print and inspection report creation using software
– Visual and dimensions inspection using quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, bore gauges).
– Expedite processes and movement of parts between departments
Qualifications:
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, inspection plans, engineering drawings and specifications.
– Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices.
– knowledge of basic safety awareness in the workplace. Able to lift and transport up to 35 pounds. Able to communicate effectively, and work well with others. Proficient with MS Word, etc.
Required experience:
– Previous QC and QA experience
– Manufacturing experience in the use of quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, bore gauges).
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, inspection plans, engineering drawings and specifications.
– Computer skills including Microsoft Office and capability to learn new softwares
