Terrier Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance software performance. The QA Engineer will play a key role in the software development lifecycle by designing and implementing test plans, documenting defects, and verifying fixes to ensure the highest level of software quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using appropriate testing tools.
Participate in code reviews, requirement analysis, and risk assessments.
Monitor software quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes.
Stay up to date with best practices, tools, and emerging technologies in software testing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Knowledge of Git, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Javascript is a plus.
