Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design:
Analyze requirements, user stories, and design specifications to understand the functional aspects of the software.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios covering various functional areas.
Create detailed, well-structured, and maintainable test cases.
Identify and prioritize test cases based on risk and criticality.
Test Execution:
Execute test cases manually and/or using automation tools (if applicable).
Document test execution results accurately and efficiently.
Identify, log, and track defects in a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Retest resolved defects to ensure they are fixed correctly.
Defect Management:
Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand and clarify defects.
Participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues.
Follow up on defect resolution and ensure timely closure.
Reporting and Communication:
Provide regular updates on testing progress, test results, and defect status to stakeholders.
Prepare clear and concise test summary reports.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging1 QA trends.

Participate in reviews of requirements, design, and code to provide early feedback on testability.
Collaboration:
Work closely with developers during the development lifecycle to identify and resolve issues early.
Collaborate with product owners to ensure that the software meets user expectations.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $23.11/hour – $36.12/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
