POSITION OBJECTIVE
Supplier Quality Engineer is mainly responsible to continuously improve supplier performance in order to guarantee a constant supply of quality parts to production.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Advance quality product planning:
Conduct supplier quality assessments and provide quality audit reports / recommendations
Ensure proper quality requirements (critical / key characteristics) are identified on drawing
Ensure supplier involvement in product development through quality design reviews.
Coordinate PPAP level requirements and compliance to PPAP process.
Establish & track PPM goals for each supplier.
2. Problem resolution:
Support Operations in solving supplier quality issues. Identify supplier quality problems through line issues, incoming inspection rejects and/or supplier audit.
Collect samples and data of defects
Initiate corrective action requests through CAR process.
Follow up and close CAR in timely manner.
Propose quality improvement plan for all key suppliers and commodities.
Attend MRB daily.
Support resolution of any warranty claims.
3. Maintain good and stable supplier relationships:
Conduct day to day follow up on supplier quality production issues.
Maintain good communication with suppliers and internal BRP customers / peers.
4. Perform any other tasks required by his functions:
Adhere to all policies, procedures and code of ethics.
Actively participate in supplier selection.
Perform any other tasks delegated by his manager.
Follow BRP values and behaviors
Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
Enforce Quality BRP policy
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Achieve the define goals like:
Storage time (quarantine, collective scrap, storage location ),
Missing or overdue 8D-reports
Line down time by our suppliers

Audit status
PPM
Education:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
Min. 2 years in related experience in a supplier quality engineer role, project management role or related supplier quality function.
Language:
Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
English written and verbal (Min: 80%).
Knowledge of French or German is an advantage
