Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our bakery products meet the highest quality standards and comply with USDA and FDA regulations. This position involves conducting quality inspections, performing audits, and utilizing precision measuring instruments to analyze and verify product specifications. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with production teams to maintain compliance with USDA and FDA practices and ensure that all processes are executed accurately.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process.
Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to analyze product dimensions and specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Document findings from inspections and audits, maintaining accurate records for traceability.
Assist in the creation of quality assurance protocols and procedures.
Involved in training and support to staff on quality assurance practices and standards.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or equivalent experience in quality assurance in a food processing facility.
Strong understanding of USDA and FDA regulations and CGMP practices.
Experience in conducting quality inspections, audits, and analysis.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a similar role
