The Quality Operations Manager for Supported Living works with ARCA’s Clinical Services Director and Supported Living Division Directors to implement and coordinate operations and quality improvement initiatives within Supported Living. Responsible for collecting, monitoring, and distributing data related to Supported Living quality improvement measures, processes, and initiatives. Duties include, ensuring ARCA and Supported Living quality standards in Individual Specific Training (IST), Supported Living safety compliance monitoring and tracking, Extended Reach, iDocs, and Therap data collection and tracking for Supported Living quality initiative. Works with Supported Living Division Director, Service Coordinators, and Case Worker on operations and program quality improvements including record review, trainings, incident management, and internal/external audits. The Supported Living Quality and Operations Manager will address operation and quality issues throughout the entire division (SL office, homes, vehicles). Provides mentoring and coaching for Service Coordinators and direct support professionals as needed. Initiates personnel action and works directly with Supported Living Division Directors to hold staff accountable for completing job duties. The Supported Living Quality Operations Manager will attend ISP, IDT, and other meetings as necessary.
The Supported Living Quality Operations Manager exercises a high degree of discretion, independent judgment, and initiative. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must be able to respond to emergencies regarding the health, safety, and wellbeing of the individuals served and staff.
Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field or related field is preferred and knowledge of the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities in required. Current knowledge and expertise in quality improvement initiatives, and process implementation, coordination, monitoring and Metrics. Must be able to manage frequent interruptions and attend to matters that require immediate attention and think outside the box. Must be able to prioritize tasks, establish, and maintain working relationships with a wide variety of internal teams and staff members. Must be solution focussed and process oriented and have the ability to teach staff with various skill levels.
Although typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, the Supported Living Quality Operations Manager must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate evening and weekend activities. Will share the on-call rotation of Division Directors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,888.00 – $54,849.00 per year
