Position Purpose:

The Quality Improvement Specialist responsibilities include Licensee Quality Auditing, Continuous Improvement, Internal Quality Auditing, ISO Compliance, and NDT training. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining proper documentation. Candidate will also be an instructor pertaining to NDT courses for TSC University.

What You’ll Do:

Perform ISO 9001 Quality Management System process audits for all functional areas, as required by direct management, the ISO standard and senior management.
Collect data by function and organization for measuring and monitoring audit activity and audit results, and collect data as needed for management review meetings.
Support audit system. Report on audit results including reviewing, organizing, analyzing and consolidating objective evidence and audit findings by function and organization to follow up on audit findings and corrective actions. May assist with external ISO reregistration and surveillance audits.
Conduct licensee audits to assess compliance with company and industry quality standards.
Develop and maintain supplier evaluation criteria to ensure high-quality connections.
Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to resolve supplier quality issues.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement.
Evaluate, implement, and monitor continuous improvement methodologies.
Assist and teaching courses for TSC University.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, other related field or demonstrated equivalent years of experience required.

Degree Equivalency:

ASNT NDT Level III in at least one of the following methods: VT,MT,UT,MFL
4 years required work experience plus the required 3 years for a total of 7 years of required work experience.

Required Work Experience:

3 years-working with quality management or with quality management systems implementation.
1 year-auditing in accordance with ISO 9001. Experience may be concurrent.

Specialized Training:

Strong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Must be organized and be able to multi-task.
Must be capable of performing process audits.
Must have excellent communication and written skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Required Software and Tools:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred Work Experience:

1 years of full-time experience in ISO auditing.
Experience leading ISO audits.
Process measurement and management, facilitation, and team skills all a plus.
Working knowledge of Visio and Compliance 360 software.

Preferred Licenses and Certificates:

American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent.
ASNT NDT Level III Visual Testing
ASNT NDT Level III Magnetic Testing
ASNT NDT Level III Magnetic Flux Leakage
ASNT NDT Level III Ultrasonic Testing

Work Environment:

Much of the work is done in a team environment. Focus and emphasis on improvement.
Will require a week at various location across the USA every quarter.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
