The Sr. Director of Service Quality is responsible for the promotion of quality awareness & continuous improvement for the Network labs. Will also own the implementation of corporate policies & procedures at the specified site(s). Ensures internal processes & metrics are aligned to create a high level of product quality & consistency. Strengthen quality systems, determining the appropriate infrastructure & resources required to achieve business objectives at the labs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate company’s quality control, quality assurance & compliance functions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable internal/external regulations, standards, policies & procedures, performance
  • Develop, implement & monitor progress of strategic quality plan & objectives working closely with production labs, engineering, continuous improvement, Operations Excellence, Maintenance, & training
  • Ensure critical/strategic priorities have resources & sufficient quality oversight to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Negotiate/Assesses customer quality agreements
  • Maintain working relationships with all customers & government agencies projecting a positive corporate image
  • Provide updates/recommendations to management of the quality plan/objectives
  • Maintain contacts with critical suppliers, professional organizations, consultants & colleagues to remain current with industry standards
  • Ensure a comprehensive Validation Master Plan in compliance for all policies released in a timely manner
  • Coordinates work efforts of a group to establish, maintain structure & organization.
  • Act as the corporate designate for all forms of communication with regulatory authorities onsite compliance matters & communication with Central headquarters
  • Facilitate introduction of new products in network labs

Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree in Science, Engineering, or Operations Management
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 15 years of management/leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, coach & mentor key employees
  • Track record of success & a broad understanding of contemporary quality practices
  • Experience in development of an organizational culture that promotes & sustains quality as an element of superior business performance
  • Significant experience/knowledge in Quality areas (Quality Assurance & Quality Control including Validation & proven expertise in the design & implementation of quality processes
  • Technical knowledge of product design, manufacturing, process design & improvement
  • Ability to effectively relate the quality functions to the business as a whole
