Khan Accessories & Packaging Co. Ltd. -KAPCO, a leading Garment-Accessories company, is looking for a Sr. Executive– HR & compliance. The role will focus on marketing Garments Accessories, including Sewing Thread, Carton, Poly, and other items.
Responsibilities:
To deal with all kinds of technical audit, Social, Environmental & Security and ensure buyers COC and requirements on deadline.
Make good relations with govt bodies, third party audit firm.
Sound knowledge about buyer’s COC, Labor Law 2006 and Labor Rules.
Ensure the factories are always prepared for the following audits: Social compliance Audit, Technical/Quality Assurance Audit, and Bond/Custom Audit.
Monitor certification like ISO, BSCI, GRS, OEKOTEX, FSC, etc. and able to face their different audits with requirements.
Ensure Compliance on Health and safety as per the in-house checklist. Have sound knowledge about all committees, such as PC, Safety, Anti-Harassment, etc.
Follow up that all corrective action has been taken/follow up; regularly as per CAP submitted.
Take all necessary steps for facing the buyers/ Govt. and compliance visit and audit.
Communicate with BGAPMEA, City Corporation, Compliance Auditors, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labour Federation etc.
To lead, direct, control, motivate, appraise & trained-up fellow staffs.
Design training schedule for skill development. Monitoring sub-unit compliance issue.
Counsel the absentee workers as referred by HR section, in view to reduce absenteeism & turnover.
Arrange training such as Orientation, Health & Safety, Fire Training, First Aid, and security awareness training, etc. effectively.
