Job Responsibilities :
Ensure that all the ordered items/equipment confirms to the PO specifications, timely approval of/ commenting on all the quality related documents, witnessing important stage(s) of critical equipment, review of TPIA reports, SQ clearance, participate in quality related meetings, help in monitoring and evaluating TPIAs and vendors and in vendor development
Carry out activities such as
Witnessing of critical stage(s) as per approved ITPs of critical equipment
Coordinate between all the agencies and departments involved for any technical issues such as NCRs/Deviations
Attending quality related meetings and Pre Inspection Meetings
Resolution of quality related matters at Shop/Site
Timely approval of all quality related documents
Timely issue of SQ clearance for dispatch
Helping in monitoring and evaluation of TPIAs
Helping in vendor approval procedure
Monitor safe storage (soft/hard copies) of all documentation of following activities
TPIAs related documents such as TPIA approvals, Surveyors competencies etc.
Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and deviations sought
Stage inspection reports (witnessed ones)
Meeting records
Timely retrieval and provision of documents as and when required
Vendor development, assessment and audits
Interface with various departments across the organization
Ensure coordination with the Site/ Project Teams for obtaining information on any quality issues
Manage relationships with multiple vendors for quality and for timely resolution of issues
Ensure coordination with DEC/Core Engineering for quality related issues
Coordinate with Procurement, Core Engg and CQM for vendor development
Education Requirement :
B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/Similar Professional
Certification by Professional Bodies like ASNT/ISNT
Experience Requirement :
7 + years of experience for graduates and 12+ years for Diploma holders in other similar work environment either within or outside large oil and Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical plants
Skills & Competencies :
The incumbent should have background of Expediting of major mechanical equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, pumps and compressors etc.) and bulk items (pipes, flanges, fittings, valves etc.) used in oil & gas and refinery and petrochemical plants
Should have a good idea of various stages involved in manufacturing of equipment/items
Should have good communication skills
