Job Description
Implement the management system and ISO/IEC 17025;
Accept and conduct all testing assignments, issue testing results and ensure result accuracy;
Carry out tests according to international standards/client specific method;
Troubleshoot problems that arise during testing, seeking help from the manager if necessary;
Involve in testing capability development under supervision of Manager;
Maintain the operation of each testing team;
Involved in the selection and acceptance of new instruments and equipment, as well organize/conduct the acceptance of consumables.
Involved in operation, maintenance, calibration / verification, performance check, and/or intermediate check of equipment in textile testing lab.
Finish other tasks assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor degree in science or Engineering
B.Sc. in Science or Engineering
SO/IEC 17025 requirement, Textile Testing Training etc.
Familiar with textile standards/ requirements
Can conduct group tests for strength (tensile, tearing, attachment), dimensional changes, color fastness, fiber content, pilling, abrasion, flammability etc…
SKILLS
Good communication skills.
Accurate typing skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite and general computer skills.
5 years’ experience in Textile testing laboratory; Experience of Accreditation Body Audit is advantage
Fluent in written and spoken English and Bengali
Strong technical knowledge;
Analytical mind and logical thinking.
