JOB POSTING:
Orick Stamping, Inc., located in Elida, Ohio is a well-established metal stamping manufacturer supporting the automotive industry. We are IATF 16949 certified. Currently we have the following position(s) available:
QUALITY ENGINEER
The successful candidate will coordinate the Quality Department’s efforts to meet customer guidelines. We prefer 3 -5 years of automotive experience and an associate’s degree in engineering/quality.
Responsibilities include:
Experience in quality applications including APQP, MRB, SD/Corrective Action, Continuous Improvement, and Key Measurables.
Development of PPAP’s, FMEA, Process Flow charts, Control Plans, etc.
Global 8-D problem solving. Internal and Customer corrective actions.
DCC-CMM experience.
Travel/Interaction with customer quality contacts at their facilities and ours to resolve any quality related issues.
New gage design review with engineering team and gage manufacturer
Review part layout and statistical process control data to determine viability of measurement techniques and stability of the process.
Expert blueprint reading and GD & T skills.
Gage calibration and records.
Provide internal technical support and training of manufacturing processes
Support IATF 16949 Quality System requirements. Internal audits.
Excellent communication skills and computer skills are a must. CMM programming and layered audits a plus.
