Job Title: QC Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a dedicated QC Laboratory Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. As a QC Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing precise physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to support our manufacturing operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a laboratory environment and enjoys problem-solving and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced laboratory techniques, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), particle size analysis, density meters, viscometers, and more.
Accurately document all analytical data in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure traceability and compliance.
Escalate any Out-of-Specification (OOS) results to the QC Lab Supervisor for review and resolution.
Manage inventory of laboratory consumables such as HPLC columns, reference standards, and control samples to maintain smooth lab operations.
Perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance laboratory efficiency and accuracy.
Adhere to strict quality, safety, and environmental standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Strong math skills to support precise and accurate analyses.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of analytical techniques, chemical handling, storage, and disposal practices.
Flexibility to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (BS) or Associate’s Degree (AS) in a science-related field.
Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including hands-on experience with HPLC and wet chemistry methods.
Experience in microbiological analysis.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and its troubleshooting/maintenance.
