QC Lab Technician-ROCHESTER

Arxada is looking for a QC Lab Technician in ROCHESTER, NY. This role is 100% onsite. No hybrid schedule or remote work available
The QC Lab Tech will test wastewater impurities, in-process, and final products for Personal Care and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients in the Chemistry Lab.
The salary for this role is between 37k-57k annually (paid hourly with overtime, as applicable).This is a rotating schedule role: 6:30am-7:00pm and 6:30pm-7:00am (every other weekend off).
Essential Job Functions:
Demonstrates a strong understanding of GMP regulations.
Flexible in prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
Available for 12-hour shifts, including overnight, weekends, and overtime.
Capable of performing minor repairs and maintenance on lab equipment.
Skilled in troubleshooting minor method issues.
Conducts routine laboratory tests following established procedures.
Performs sample and process calculations as required.
Prepares chemical reagents and standard solutions.
Provides training to other technicians as needed.
Assists in ordering supplies for the lab.
Assists with Microbiology testing and reviews as needed.
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, actively promoting safe work practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Continuously learns about various production processes and controls.
Continuously learns from more senior individuals in the lab.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Engineering with 1-3 years of lab experience required
Desire and drive to work in a collaborative environment and being hands on as an applied scientist
