Your role
at Baxter
Responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all incoming medical device components and materials. Will inspect and test incoming materials to ensure they meet the required specifications and are free of defects. Works closely with the receiving, warehousing, and manufacturing teams to ensure all materials are inspected and released in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

What
you’ll be doing
Inspect and test incoming medical device components and materials through the performance of required visual and functional testing to ensure they meet required specifications and are free of defects.
Collaborate with the receiving, warehousing, and manufacturing teams to ensure materials are inspected and released in a timely manner.
Document all inspection results using and maintain accurate records.
Identify and report any material defects or other quality issues to the appropriate personnel and initiate a non-conforming material report for material disposition.
Participate in site audits and GEMBAs of receiving inspection area.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Provide training and guidance to junior quality inspectors as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts of inspection processes and suggest improvements to management.
What you’ll bring
High School diploma with 2+ years related experience.
Experience in a pharmaceutical or Biotech industry preferred.
Must be familiar with cGMP and FDA requirements.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques may be required.
Must have strong computer / data skills.
Experience with receiving inspection and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and cGMPs.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management.
Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques preferred.
