Job Description:
Establishing, sustaining, driving, and monitoring
quality assurance
processes, practices, and controls in support of application and system requirement, development and test activities throughout the software development and sustainment life cycles. Provides
leadership
and consulting on
quality assurance
methodology. Leads quality improvements to requirement, development and test procedures and responsible for the development and implementation of
quality assurance
processes and tools. Mentors and directs other
quality assurance
analysts
Typical Day in the Role:
Day to day:
Taking work that has been prioritized by leadership and product team
Working with developers within the product team for inscape work around testing.
Ensure the lab is maintained and devises are up to date.
Ensure that new features and regression testing is tested on current production baseline
Understanding and be able to keep up with what has already been deployed
Very interactive team – will be working closely with developers and SDETs
Candidate Requirements:
MUST HAVE:
Agile
Hardware testing
Experience setting up a lab and testing devises
UI testing
Understanding of manual testing practices and standards
Need full end to end testing experience
API testing
Writing test cases
Software test engineer experience
Back end testing
Problem solving/dealing with ambiguity
Need to be able to communicate well with both written and verbal communication
Need to be able to take leadership well
NICE TO HAVE:
The team is using Postman – no required is a Nice to have
Test case repository (zeffer,qtest, QC)
