About the Opportunity:

The Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and improving program compliance and performance measures. This role supports quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives within domestic program services, particularly focusing on Early Head Start providers. The position contributes to maintaining program standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the impact of services.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track data collection and performance measures for reporting to funders
  • Conduct audits, monitoring reviews, and quality assurance activities including annual program audits
  • Coordinate monitoring schedules and provide post-audit follow-up support
  • Prepare and distribute reports, corrective action plans, and improvement recommendations
  • Provide policy interpretation, technical assistance, and quality assurance support to program staff
  • Conduct meetings to assess compliance progress and resolve findings
  • Serve as a primary contact for Early Head Start performance standards
  • Identify data gaps and communicate findings to relevant team members
  • Use information management systems and assessment tools to fulfill role functions
  • Lead design, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Participate in required events, training, and meetings
  • Manage time-sensitive deadlines and tasks reliably
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum three years’ experience in compliance and auditing of social service programs preferred
  • At least two years’ experience in quality assurance and quality improvement projects
  • At least two years’ experience with Head Start or similar programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Initiative and ability to follow instructions
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with minimum three years driving experience
  • Pass Motor Vehicle Records check and maintain reliable vehicle insurance
  • Pass criminal history screening including child protection registries
  • Agreement with agency’s Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
