As a Senior Quality Engineer (1
FTE), you will be responsible for leading projects focused on continuous quality improvement of our products and processes. In this role of project leader and internal consultant, you will work closely with department managers and other stakeholders to define improvement goals, measure and analyze process capabilities, perform root-cause analysis projects, implement improvements, and monitor ongoing performance. You will be responsible for the quality system, handling and accounting for customer complaints, and supporting development and production processes.
You lead improvement projects, analyze process opportunities, and implement improvements by maintaining risk analyses. You will collaborate with various departments while sharing your best practices in problem solving and quality control. This includes creating and maintaining design and process risk analyses, coordinating activities to address quality issues or improve performance, and identifying and reporting on quality-related trends. In addition, you initiate investment requests.
You will have responsibility for the quality system, handling customer complaints, and supporting development and production processes. You fulfill these responsibilities by providing leadership in the implementation of standard quality systems and processes to detect, control, and resolve production quality issues. You are in direct contact with customers to address quality issues, including substantiating issues and solutions. In addition, you actively participate in internal audits and support teams in implementing corrective actions.
The ability to speak the customer’s language and communicate effectively, so that you can translate customer requirements to all involved stakeholders, is essential here.
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will also be responsible for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article Packages at customer product launches, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory bodies and standards (ISO
13485).

What do we ask of you for this position?
Education and Experience:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, or a similar field and have more than 6 years of experience in quality function. You are familiar with Total Quality Management, FDA Good Manufacturing Practices, and ISO 9000. Also, you have knowledge and experience in PLC automations, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), First Article Packages, and quality systems and their development and implementation.
Having experience in Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments is a plus.
Problem Solving Ability: You have the ability to understand problems and define next steps that lead to effective solutions.
Analytical Ability: You have strong analytical skills, including the use of simple and complex quality tools.
Communication skills: You have very good oral and written communication skills in the English language and understand customer language. You have the ability to formulate reports, business correspondence, and procedures and respond to both internal and external inquiries.
Team player: You are able to work effectively with various teams in Venray and Oliver Global to complete activities in a timely manner.
Improvement-oriented: You have the knowledge and experience to organize and lead Kaizens, leading to continuous quality improvement within processes.
