Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium and experience in Program Management is a plus. This hybrid role requires working primarily during the day shift with no travel required. The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.
Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium to streamline the testing process.
Provide expertise in Java to develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software functionality after changes or updates.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
Mentor and guide junior quality engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards.
Work closely with developers to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.
Utilize program management skills to coordinate testing activities and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing tools and technologies.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering.
Demonstrate expertise in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Show proficiency in conducting thorough regression testing.
Have experience in program management (nice to have).
Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
