Purpose of Role: The Sr Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of materials and components supplied to our manufacturing operations, leading supplier quality improvement initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with our suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Development: Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance protocols and procedures.
Supplier Quality: Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier-related quality issues.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze supplier quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Communication: Prepare and present supplier quality reports to management and stakeholders. Facilitate the effective exchange of information to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving supply chain objectives.

Job Knowledge/Education and
Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
ISO 9001 experience.
Experience communicating with suppliers.
