Job Summary:
Sr Manager QE to drive test automation and quality strategy for a personalization project in the retail domain. The role requires strong automation skills, experience with data-driven testing, and the ability to work with large datasets in the background. Backend testing experience is preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead test automation strategy for personalization workflows. Responsible for entire QE for the program. Has to work with offshore and Clients.
Develop and maintain automated test suites for APIs, UI, and data validation.
Ensure data integrity and validation in personalization models.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and product teams to define quality standards.
Exposure around performance and scalability tests for high-volume data scenarios.
Drive continuous testing and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years in Quality Engineering with expertise in test automation.
Experience in retail/e-commerce domain, preferably with personalization.
Strong skills in Selenium, Cypress or similar automation tools.
API testing experience using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
Hands-on experience with SQL, data validation, and working with large datasets.
Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
Experience in Big Data, Spark, or cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. One of this.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Requirements:
Top 3 Skills Needed:
If Senior Manager level, will need previous team lead experience, ideally in a global model
Strong hands-on Automation experience (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
Exposure to Mobile Testing, CI/CD, DevOps pipeline
Experience of API testing using Postman, Resta Assured or Karate
Strong communication skills and client working experience
Retail functional knowledge – WCS preferred, OMS is not mandatory here
