KEY DUTIES:
Obtain, analyze, and coordinate corrective actions, on significant deviations from quality standards.
Effectively communicates relevant information to the management team.
Strives for continuous improvement in overall defect-reduction, monitors defect-reduction procedure effectiveness and implements appropriate adjustments.
Communicates with customer representative for quality related issues and concerns.
Timely communication with internal partners on open or pending actions items.
Works with the New Product Development Engineers to troubleshoot issues found during incoming inspections or returns.
Through CAPA processes, ensures that supplier quality problems are investigated, trends are tracked, and issues resolved so that ACG is supplied with quality products.
Establish and track departmental goals and objectives that provide exemplary quality and technical services performance to the organization.
Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and yearly evaluates performance, counsels, records, and disciplines all supervised employees.
Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving skills while leading the department toward company goals and objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Associates of Arts degree, or equivalent overall work experience.
2+ years of direct supervisory experience in operations and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (advanced Excel preferred).
Experience with QMS and CAPA processes.
Works well in teams, including a sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma or RCA methodologies preferred.
Spanish speaker is a plus.
