Sr. Validation Engineer – CSV Jobs in Winston-Salem, NC at ProKidney
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide quality assurance support for raw materials, in-process mixes, and finished product as assigned. Conduct required analytical testing, inspection, communication, and documentation associated with assigned responsibilities. Work with both in-plant resources, and suppliers to effectively communicate and assure control of non-conforming materials. Ensures a safe, legal, sanitary and food safe working environment.
The Q.A. batching person will be responsible for ensuring all syrup batches are prepared as listed and by the production schedule. Also trained along with specific duties given by Q.A Lead on a daily basis.
essential functions, Job duties and responsibilities:
Mixing Batches of Concentrate:
· Transport concentrate to the batching area and document lot codes on the concentrate package.
· Adhere to formula batching specifications of syrup preparation.
· Assist with concentrate deliveries and in place for locations
· Ensure proper raw concentrate stock rotation.
· Provide daily inventory checks of concentrate
· Clean concentrate cooler, as needed
Syrup Room Sanitation:
Sanitize batch tanks.
· Sanitize mixing storage tanks.
· Sanitize sugar storage tanks.
· Sanitize pumps and lines.
· Document the date and time of sanitation.
· Other tasks as assigned by Quality Control Supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
Must have interpersonal, analytical, and statistical skills
Should have overall knowledge of production operations.
Must be proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, and mathematics.
Should have a combination of 2-3 years of related experience and/or training
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· The employee must be able to work 8+ hour shifts.
· The ability to work frequent overtime hours.
· The ability to work weekends when required.
· The employees must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds on a frequent basis.
· The employee must be able to sit; stand; walk; reach with hands and arms on a frequent basis.
· The employee must be able to work in a cold, hot, wet, and/or humid environment.
· Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
