Quality Control Associate – 2nd Shift – 4pm – 12:30am

We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Control Associate for our Austell, Georgia, manufacturing plant.

Role Overview

· We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Associate to work with minimal supervision in our high-volume manufacturing and assembly operation.

· As a Quality Control Associate, you will be tasked with ensuring the quality of procured, manufactured and assembled components. This will include the control of critical dimensions and tolerances, ensuring that all parts are manufactured and assembled to the specification required. You will also ensure safety stock levels are maintained of all components and assemblies.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

· 5+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance.

· Experienced in using precision measuring equipment such as CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine), calipers and gauges.

· The ability to interpret drawings and other “First Article” requirements.

· Familiar with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).

· Highly organized with faultless attention to detail.

· The ability to learn quickly and be able to work productively to tight deadlines without direct supervision.

· Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.

Physical Demands

· Must be able to detect small part numbers from a reasonable distance.

· Repetitive motions that may use wrists, hands, and/or fingers on a consistent basis.

· This position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.

Duties, Authorities, & Responsibilities:

· Perform quality inspections for defects throughout the receiving/in-process (manufacturing and assembly)/final approval process.

o Conduct tests using detailed work instructions and measurement equipment.

o Measure and document specifications of random items in each production run.

· Verify that the inspected product meets the customer s specifications.

· Train team members to ensure and refine production quality.

Role Details:

· Job Type: Full-time

· Location: Onsite in Austell GA (no remote work)

· Pay: $22 – $26 per hour

· Expected hours: Monday – Friday, 40 per week; 2nd shift 4pm – 12:30am

· Experience level: 5-years minimum

· Work setting: In-person
