This leadership position requires expertise in laboratory operations and quality systems. Successful candidates will engage in all aspects of laboratory start-up, including facility planning and equipment validation. You’ll work closely with clinicians and regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the stem cell laboratory start-up project from planning to execution
• Develop timelines, risk assessments, and resource plans
• Collaborate with teams for design and operational readiness
• Oversee equipment procurement, qualification, and validation
• Coordinate audits and accreditation preparations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline
• CMLTO licensed with 5 years’ laboratory experience
• Strong understanding of quality systems in regulated environments
• Experience with Health Canada Regulations and FACT accreditation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
