Supervisor, Inspection (3rd Shift) Jobs in Bloomington, IN at Novo Nordisk
Our metal fabrication team seeks an experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure quality and compliance during manufacturing by inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify that products adhere to specifications, blueprints, and regulatory requirements. This role involves using measurement tools, interpreting technical drawings, and documenting inspection results. test, document, troubleshoot and prepare our products for launch.
The successful candidate will have a creative, innovative approach to his/her work and will never shy away from offering frank observations and recommendations. We’re looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in terms of safety, security and accuracy.
Principal Accountabilities: (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure consistency and integrity
Maintain, test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices
Attempt repairs on broken or damaged products to determine the best way to scale those repairs
Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards
Report problems or concerns to senior management immediately
Ensure all employees meet their required quotas
Provide training and support to QA team
Create an effective, efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Assist with other duties as assigned
Adheres to all company policies and procedures
