Quality Auditor
School Apparel is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position involves conducting audits, performing inspections, and collaborating with various departments to maintain quality assurance processes. The Quality Auditor will utilize various measuring tools and techniques to assess product quality and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and FDA regulations.
Job Functions
· Read specifications, grade charts, LRS, cutting directions, trim sheets and other
special instructions in PD
· Measure products with tape measurements
· Accept or reject finished items
· Report inspection and data such as audit reports
· Moving boxes of garments by hand and using pallet jack
· QC check special orders
· QC check sample orders
· Help maintain the PG
· Repack the odd quantities cartons received in house
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience with garment assembly a plus
· Must be at least 18 years old to work
· Able to stand or sit throughout 8 hours shift
· Able to read a ruler, read, write and understand directions
· Good physical (hand/eye) coordination
· Able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis
· Good vision with or without corrective lenses
