This internship offers an opportunity to learn about product quality management functions with supplier quality management applications focused on interior parts commodities.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
Assist the Quality Specialist on critical ongoing or upcoming projects.
Work on specific supplier issues related to process problem solving using appropriate tools.
Assist with supply chain topics, including sub-component stock tracking and crisis management during critical shortages.
Handle specific supplier topics as defined by the Hiring Manager and assignment supervisor.
Implement OEE and value stream data collection systems at suppliers.
Support the development of supplier quality for specific nominations.
Apply problem-solving methodology (8D) to address recurrent quality issues with suppliers.
Qualifications:
Major in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar fields.
Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and basic project management knowledge.
Experience managing or leading groups of people.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 (overall, not just in major).
Enrollment as a student at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
Completed at least 30 credit hours by the time of application.
Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
Transfer students must provide GPA from current university.
MUST ATTACH a copy of unofficial transcript.
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
Work term dates: August 11th – December 12th, 2025.
