Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on managing product quality across our supply chain, ensuring compliance with international quality standards, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives in our manufacturing processes. The role is based in our facility optimized for low to mid-volume production, with additional collaboration with offshore facilities for high-volume production needs.
This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment where technical expertise and a proactive approach are key to our success.
Manage and enhance supplier relationships to ensure strict compliance with our quality requirements and standards.
Identify, address, and resolve quality-related issues with suppliers, driving root cause analysis and implementing robust corrective actions.
Conduct comprehensive supplier audits, evaluate performance metrics, and lead quality improvement projects to enhance supplier contributions to our goals.
Lead the supplier qualification and approval processes, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 D standards.
Implement and oversee quality control plans, including process validation and verification activities across the supply chain.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Manufacturing, and Engineering to integrate quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Maintain meticulous documentation related to supplier performance, quality audits, and improvement projects, reporting regularly to senior management.
Support environmental compliance initiatives, ensuring all products meet REACH, SVHC, RoHS, Prop 65, and other applicable regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven knowledge and practical application of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 D; certification as a Lead Auditor or Quality Engineer is highly desirable.
Demonstrable experience with low to mid-volume production; familiarity with high-volume production processes is a plus.
Strong understanding of quality control principles, statistical analysis tools, and methodologies.
Proficiency in using quality management software and ERP systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Superb communication skills, capable of effective interaction with internal teams and external suppliers.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to product quality and compliance.
