$30.00/hr – $35.00/hr
Job Description
As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will conduct supplier qualification and development. You will work closely with a multi-cultural environment and different departments locally and globally, collaborating with the global SCM process. You will use digitalization tools to improve our processes and address nonconformance by conducting containment, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing preventative measures & risk mitigation measures.

Supplier
Qualification:
Implement and control the support of the cross-functional supplier selection team with required quality data; conduct supplier audits and assessments of supplier risk.
Product and Process
Qualification:
Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) according to applicable process descriptions and standards.
Supplier Quality Management: Plan, implement, optimize, and control the efficiency of the defined Supplier Quality Management Process to ensure the requested quality.
Supplier Improvement: Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs and track the effectiveness of measures.
Design Review and Improvement: Participate in design reviews and support early supplier involvement for new designs.
What You Bring
Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a similar discipline;
Master’s Degree desired.
Experience in supplier qualification, product/process qualification & technical supplier development.
Experience leading projects and running virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment.
Extensive knowledge in welding and coating; CWI certification preferred.
Knowledge of ISO & ASME Standards.
Strong analytical thinking and advanced communication skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
Lead Auditor experience or certification.
Fluency in English (writing and speaking).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical field and/or working in Supply Chain.
