Supplier Quality Specialist Jobs in North Charleston, SC at The Urban Electric Co.
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that each operation is being produced to meet the customer’s expectations. The Quality Inspector will inspect parts at each of the production stages required for any given part, and either accept or reject based on the findings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties in the shop may be assigned as necessary.
· Use the computer system programs utilized by department to report on the quality of the processes.
· Understand how to interpret customer prints. Use inspection hand tools (protractors, squares, calipers, tape measures,) to verify compliance.
· Verify that all items manufactured comply with Engineering and Quality Control specifications, through all phases of the manufacturing process.
· Ability to read blueprints.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Experience using Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
· CMM experience a plus
· Laser scanning a plus
· Experience with GD&T, balloon prints, and First Article Reports a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Work Schedule: Routine shift hours 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM through 10:30 AM Friday. Infrequent overtime, weekend, or shift rotation.
· Demands/Deadlines: Occasional stress due to deadlines or workload because of intermittent or cyclical work pressures.
