- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to audit and evaluate new suppliers, and select qualified suppliers based on assessment results.
- Develop the annual supplier audit plan and ensure completion of QPC/QSA audits.
- Monitor and analyze supplier LRR/VLRR metrics and conduct monthly and quarterly performance evaluations.
- Provide quality coaching and improvement support to key suppliers based on supplier segmentation principles.
- Manage incoming material issues identified by IQC; issue SCARs and verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Address quality issues caused by incoming materials across production processes and drive them to closure.
- Track, analyze, and report Supplier Quality Cost Charge (SQCC).
- Prepare weekly and monthly supplier quality reports.
- Revise and maintain supplier management documentation.
- Manage the execution and maintenance of Supplier Quality Agreements (SQA).
- Lead supplier sample approval and review/approval of PPAP documentation.
- Develop, revise, and validate incoming inspection work instructions for components and materials.
- Manage IQC, including capability development; ensure site safety and 5S compliance.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned. Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of supplier audit processes with extensive supplier management experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as electroplating, machining, and metal powder mixing and forming.
- Solid understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9000 quality management systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to set goals independently, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel on short notice.
- Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or Science (Chemistry or Polymer preferred). Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Annual audit completion rate.
- Closure rate and effectiveness of supplier audit findings.
- Incoming lot acceptance rate.
- Incoming defect rate (PPM).
- Timeliness of supplier corrective action responses for incoming quality issues.
- Effectiveness of corrective actions for incoming quality issues.
