Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Product Quality to lead and manage all quality assurance activities across production, incoming goods inspection, and outgoing quality control. This critical role ensures that quality standards are maintained from the suppliers of components to the final shipment of the finished goods, driving root cause resolution and corrective action processes across internal teams and external partners.
The ideal candidate:
Has an industrial engineering background with strong electromechanical skills.
Has extensive experience in quality control and inspection methods and techniques.
Demonstrates strong leadership skills and brings hands-on experience from regulated industrial environments such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive industries.
This position collaborates closely with leaders in Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, HR, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to uphold quality as a core company priority.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee a team of quality inspectors
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure product compliance and continuous improvement, grounded in deep understanding of product and production processes technologies.
Oversee incoming material inspections and in-process quality, ensure supplier compliance and drive supplier corrective actions when necessary.
Monitor production processes to ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout manufacturing and drive product reliability testing initiatives.
Supervise outgoing quality inspections to guarantee that shipped products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify quality risks, lead root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions, with highest level of urgency and thoroughness.
Establish data-driven reporting systems to support predictive and preventive quality initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, production, engineering, and logistics to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits; ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation.
Champion a culture of quality and operational excellence across the organization.

Work Experience Required:

Minimum 10 years of direct responsibility in leading product and production quality control in an industrial environment, including direct personnel responsibility.
Experience working in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO13485, Lean Principles, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D methodology).
Proven ability to lead a team and manage cross-functional initiatives.
Hands-on, electro-mechanical aptitude and deep understanding of production processes (light electro-mechanical assembly in a one piece flow/MTO manufacturing environment).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to interact with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues professionally and effectively.

Core Skills Requirements:

Must be six sigma certified (ideally black belt) with proven track record in implementation of six sigma projects in product quality related environments.
Must be fluent in English, and have excellent verbal and written abilities.
Must understand the core principles and have actively driven Kaizen projects, with clear success stories over the years.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
