Job Responsibilities
1. Manage overseas quality teams, allocate tasks and grant authorities, track and review the progress of overseas quality management.
2. Monitor in-mass production quality control of apparel & accessories products in Vietnam; coordinate suppliers to complete pre-production preparations including technical transfer and pre-production meetings.
3. Conduct quality management and progress monitoring throughout production: physical & chemical test and label verification, first article inspection, as well as pre-production, in-line and final inspections. Perform sampling and testing in accordance with physical & chemical sampling plans, follow up and administer non-conformance issues to sustain product market competitiveness.
4. Oversee suppliers’ mass production quality control and process audits, carry out special audits and system audits.
5. Conduct supplier capability enablement on a quarterly basis; organize QC/IQC training, certification and authorization administration for suppliers.
6. Support the department in supplier development programs and internal staff technical upgrading initiatives.
7. Collect, count and analyze quality data; supervise factory monthly meetings and quarterly reviews on the achievement of quality targets.
8. Lead quality improvement and corrective action campaigns, as well as projects including automation rollout and dedicated workshop implementation.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Textile & Garment Engineering or related disciplines; minimum 5 years of working experience in the apparel industry.
2. Prior QC experience for branded apparel; proficient in garment sewing craftsmanship and quality standards.
3. Strong order follow-up and quality control capabilities.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English or Vietnamese.
