Title: Supply & Quality Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Evaluation & Technical Assessment

Conduct product evaluation and testing activities based on specific product lines, application requirements, and relevant technical standards

Analyze test results to identify deviations, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities

Compare new materials/formulations against existing benchmarks to support product development and improvement (NPI)

Ensure compliance with internal procedures, technical standards, and testing requirements during evaluation processes

2. Quality Control & Documentation

Perform incoming material inspections and finish product audits prior to release

Develop, maintain, and update QC documentation (SOPs, specifications, checklists) aligned with ISO 9001 and/or relevant quality management systems

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and coordinate corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

Monitor product quality trends and recommend improvements to enhance consistency and reliability

3. Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with the Development group and related teams to ensure technical alignment with market needs and real-world applications

Coordinate the resolution of technical issues during product consultation, trials, and application

Handle customer feedback and complaints with clear technical analysis and structured communication

Assess product performance in real-world applications and recommend adjustments to materials, processes, or application methods

Prepare and deliver technical materials (TDS, application guidelines, comparison documents, technical reports) for both internal teams and customers

Contribute technical insights from testing and field feedback to support product improvement and new product development (NPI)

Ensure consistent and accurate technical understanding across internal teams, suppliers, and customers

4. Supplier Coordination & Product Sourcing Support

Contribute to supplier evaluation and qualification based on technical capability, product quality, and consistency

Coordinate with suppliers to align product specifications, application requirements, and technical standards

Monitor supplier performance (quality consistency, responsiveness, technical compliance) and provide technical input for improvement when needed

Collaborate with the Development group to identify and propose suitable products or material solutions based on application requirements

Support the evaluation and qualification of alternative materials to mitigate supply risks

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields

Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, product evaluation, technical support, or application roles within chemical, adhesive, or manufacturing industries

Understanding of adhesive technologies (Epoxy, Silicone, UV, Cyanoacrylate) and bonding mechanisms across various substrates (metals, plastics, composites, etc.)

Familiarity with product testing, application validation, and technical troubleshooting

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or other quality management systems

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills (RCA, CAPA mindset)

Effective cross-functional communication and stakeholder coordination

Ability to translate technical concepts into practical application guidance

Good reading comprehension of technical English documents
