Position: Swift Coding Expert (Japanese)
Upwork has partnered with an Enterprise client, a generative AI data company. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Swift Coding Expert—Japanese-speaking. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of the company’s project deliverables by managing a dedicated pod of “contributors” who are working on translation tasks and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
This position requires a strong focus on maintaining and enhancing the overall quality of data annotations.
Job Description
Pod Management:
Lead and manage a pod of contributors with a primary focus on quality, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Daily Audits:
Perform daily audits to assess and enhance the quality of data annotations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Contributor Support:
Collaborate with contributors to address and resolve quality-related issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with quality standards, project guidelines, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Experience as a Swift Coding expert/iOS Developer.
Strong project management skills with a focus on quality assurance.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with contributors and stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyze data annotation quality metrics and drive improvements.
Fluency in Japanese and English is essential for effective communication and collaboration with the team.
Previous experience in translation is a plus.
Additional Information
– This position is anticipated to be 40+ hours a week for approximately a month.
