Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented System Integration Tester (SIT) with 5-7 years of experience, preferably in the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end integration testing, working with complex banking systems, including core banking, digital channels, payment systems, APIs, and third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and execute System Integration Test cases for multiple banking applications and platforms.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and external vendors to ensure complete test coverage.
Validate data flow across systems, including upstream/downstream validations.
Perform regression, functional, non-functional, and end-to-end testing.
Maintain and manage test environments, test data, and SIT test execution logs.
Work with Agile/Scrum teams, attending daily standups and supporting sprint testing cycles.
Raise and track defects in JIRA (or similar tools) and ensure resolution with developers and other stakeholders.
Create traceability matrices, test summary reports, and SIT sign-off documents.
Ensure compliance with banking regulatory standards and security protocols during test activities.
Participate in UAT support, production validation, and release readiness activities.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5-7 years of experience in System Integration Testing, specifically in the banking/financial domain.
Strong understanding of banking systems like Core Banking (e.g., Finacle, Flexcube), Payments (e.g., SWIFT, NEFT, RTGS), Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and CRM systems.
Good hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and database testing (SQL, Oracle).
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, etc.).
Knowledge of test automation frameworks is a plus (Selenium, RestAssured, etc.).
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Familiarity with compliance, security, and data privacy regulations in the banking industry (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, RBI guidelines)
