Must haves

  • Complete all functional and regression testing activities of Web application components and reports, including direct API, automation, integration testing, as required
  • Provide system testing expertise through creation and execution of complex test plans and the coordination of defects throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Experience leading and/or participating in the defect review process on a regular basis
  • Experience with all test activities including functional, integration and regression testing of Web application components and reports
  • Expertise in creating a variety of test data using automated test tools (e.g. SOAP UI, Swagger, Postman) to assist both functional and regression testing during an iteration

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Complete all functional and regression testing activities of Web application components and reports, including direct API, automation, integration testing, as required
  • Work efficiently as part of the project team, participating in iteration planning sessions and defining acceptance criteria
  • Effectively create and manage defects based on priority and severity
  • Provide system testing expertise through creation and execution of complex test plans and the coordination of defects throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Create test plans for assigned testing areas including the maintenance of test cases
  • Perform test execution and results reporting
  • Assist user acceptance testing with both data creation and test execution
  • Plan and lead peer reviews of various test artefacts
  • Provide input on project test strategy
  • Provide review of test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Both participate and lead defect review process on a regular basis
  • Enter defects in industry standard defect tracking tool
  • Follow defects throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Assist in the analysis and definition of testing scope during an iteration
  • Perform database verification using SQL in an Oracle environment
  • Create test data using automated test tools to assist both functional and regression testing during a sprint
  • Assist and advise the DADS IT Project Manager and the IDMS Testing Lead with issues and scope management.

Note

This position is listed as Onsite; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified OPS office location.

Extension/Amendment Attestation: Extensions are permitted only to the extent of unused contract days and/or remaining contract funds. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value, including any extension options set out in the original SOW.
