Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.

Job Description

Personnel management with all individual tasks included (initiating disciplinary measures, assessment of employees, staff appraisals, personnel development, etc.)

Ensuring effective personnel deployment planning (vacation and shift planning)

Participation in personnel and CAPEX planning

Participation in the processing of complaints and deviations

Independent, continuous development of the area of responsibility

Assumption of (partial) project responsibility within the defined framework

Ensure continuous audit readiness

Trusting cooperation with internal and external interfaces (e.g. production areas, TS, CS, plant management, TCC/SEC)

Independent compliance with standards, legal provisions (e.g. Working Hours Act, occupational safety regulations) and internal company regulations (SOPs, BVs, etc.)

Qualifications

Completed technical vocational training and completed advanced training to become a technician or master craftsman with at least 5 years of experience in a comparable function with management responsibility in the quality environment.

This function requires specialist knowledge of quality management with management experience

2-3 years’ experience leading a team (e.g. interviewing, further development)

2-3 years’ experience writing technical reports

2-3 years’ experience using test methods and measurement technology

2-3 years experience using Office Programs, MES and ERP

Very good knowledge of the required QM guidelines

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g. products and processes)

Fluent in English

Confident and representative appearance

Good communication skills

Good analytical and conceptual skills
