Requirements:
Experience: 1+ years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance and/or Manufacturing/Production/Food/Beverage industry
Bilingual; speak, read & write Spanish fluently
Job Description:
Summary: At GT’s Living Foods, our Quality Technicians (II) ensure that every batch of Kombucha maintains the highest standards of quality that our consumers know and love. In addition to occasionally fulfilling the responsibilities of a Quality Technician (I) in alignment with business needs, Quality Technicians (II) are responsible for identifying and reporting any issues/errors after our product is bottled.
Essential Duties:
Measure Brix, CO2, pH, and temperature of product using designated equipment
Document rejected glass using electrical panel
Inspect glass quality at the time of packaging and conduct final review of bottles
Verify accuracy of date on cap code for each bottle
Perform quality checks on packaging of material such as label height and position
Collaborate with Maintenance to diagnose root cause of damaged goods
Document down time to determine downstream impact on product life
Check box code and label to ensure both align with the bottle cap date and product
Promptly respond to issues and escalate them to the appropriate party
Clean work area as needed to maintain a safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Ability to utilize and reference documents
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Demonstrate teamwork as well as the ability to work independently • Strong written communication skills • Strong data collection/entry skills • Strong attention to detail, including the ability to produce accurate, precise and reproducible data

Job Details:
Work Hours: Sunday – Thursday (Graveyard)
Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull and carry up to 45 lbs.
Work Attire: Use good judgement, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their own safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public.
Involves frequent movement around the warehouse in a wet/humid environment, near moving mechanical parts and/or electrical equipment, and occasionally in a cold environment (30-40°F)
