Role Description The Technical Inspector role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha. This role is responsible for conducting detailed inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and internal quality benchmarks. Day-to-day tasks include performing diagnostic checks, verifying repair and maintenance work, documenting inspection findings, and preparing clear reports for service advisors, technicians, and management. The Technical Inspector collaborates closely with workshop teams to resolve technical issues, supports continuous improvement of service processes, and helps maintain high customer satisfaction through accurate and timely inspections. The role also involves adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures and contributing to the consistent application of AAM’s quality standards across the service network.
Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in automotive inspection, diagnostics, and repair verification, with hands-on experience in modern vehicle systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and manufacturer guidelines, and apply them in daily inspection activities.
  • Competence in documenting findings, preparing clear inspection reports, and communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality control, and compliance standards within automotive workshops and service environments.
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Previous experience in a technical inspector, workshop controller, senior technician, or similar role in the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and basic computer applications related to service and reporting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, customer-focused service, and ongoing professional development in line with industry best practices.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills and familiarity
