Job Title:
Corporate Technical/Quality Manager at Mountain Point (Subsidiary of Cape Fox)
Cape Fox, through its subsidiary Mountain Point, is seeking a qualified Corporate Technical/Quality Manager
. This candidate will develop and implement the technical review and quality program, quality control plans, enforce policies, assess risks, and ensure compliance with legal guidelines for the Mountain Point construction company. Work will primarily be within the United States, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, and Florida.
Construction Work Includes:
Building renovations and repairs
New construction
Pre-construction services, IT and physical security upgrades
Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Demolition
Civil and Utility Work Focuses on:
Electrical and underground water infrastructure (potable water, storm, sewer)
Earth-moving services
The Quality Manager is responsible for managing the Contractor Quality Control Program.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development of the corporate quality program, including SOPs, deliverables, subcontractors, and staff training to embed quality within the company.
Improve and develop internal quality control, technical, and safety policies.
Oversee site QC officers, contractor quality system managers, and quality specialists, supporting project managers and site superintendents.
Lead and guide the quality department, improve core processes, and support project execution.
Maintain quality and training records for internal compliance.
Essential Functions:
Review and update technical/quality procedures to meet project standards.
Establish, review, and revise quality programs and policies.
Inspect projects before, during, and after construction for compliance with safety and quality standards.
Develop and maintain a quality control plan, including documentation and supervision.
Monitor active project sites daily to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with drawings and specifications.
Coordinate employee quality training programs.
Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
Implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products and equipment.
Ensure products and services meet technical and quality standards.
Prepare reports by analyzing data and summarizing findings.
Work within deadlines to deliver products/services.
Identify and address product non-conformities and root causes.
Work Environment
:
This role involves supporting construction on U.S. Government contracts at military installations. The work environment varies, including offices, facilities, and construction sites, often requiring travel and fieldwork. The role may involve exposure to stressful or hazardous situations. Collaboration with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors is essential to ensure project success.
