The Quality Control and Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all production processes meet company and regulatory quality standards. This role involves developing quality control systems, conducting inspections, overseeing compliance with industry standards, and leading a team to maintain high-quality products and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

Quality Control & Assurance: Develop and implement quality control and assurance procedures for production. Develop and lead systematic problem-solving processes and routines to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards. Identify and document product defects and deviations, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Train and supervise quality control staff, providing guidance and performance evaluations.

Process Improvement & Compliance: Implement quality control methodologies to minimize defects and waste. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety regulations.Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives related to quality issues. Develop and lead systematic problem-solving processes and routines to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Document and report quality metrics, deviations, and corrective action plans. Testing, Audits & Reporting: Conduct routine inspections and audits of production areas to identify potential quality issues.Analyze quality control test results and implement corrective actions as needed. Perform product performance testing, durability assessments, and material analysis.Maintain accurate records of quality assessments, test results, and compliance reports.Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, efficiency, and workforce development. Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior leadership.
Collaboration & Training: Work closely with production and management to improve product design and manufacturing processes. Train and supervise quality control staff, providing guidance and performance evaluations.Train production staff on quality assurance standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.Encourage a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments. Collaborate with production managers and engineers to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Benchmark Analysis: Keep up to date with industry trends, quality standards, and best practices. Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Or experience of 5+ years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proven expertise in quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Work Environment:

Primarily works in a manufacturing/production setting with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
May involve occasional exposure to varying temperatures based on facility conditions. in helping us achieve our goals.

Morning: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
40 hours per week

Morning: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Afternoon: Monday – Friday 2:00p – 8:30p
40 hours per week
