Summary: This position primarily focuses on the processes and procedures that improve the quality of service, system functionality and enhancements, training, documentation creation, monitoring and audits of documents and interactions. The position helps ensure departmental processes and procedures are compliant with state, federal, and BeWell policies and guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

Analyzes operational performance through audits and reviews, in partnership with department managers.
Develops reports and uses data to raise productivity, ensure consistency of business processes, and improve customer satisfaction.
Identify customer service improvement opportunities through monitoring of customer interactions.
Strives to develop knowledge of emerging customer service and regulatory practices when troubleshooting and solving business problems.
Identifies the organization’s strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
Leads and/or assists in special projects as assigned.
Designs and maintains weekly and monthly operational reports for Individual Exchange; builds ad hoc reports as required.
Lead and /or assist in system enhancements implementation to identify improvement and limitations.
Create and refine process and procedure documentation as required.
Lead and or/ assist with training.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

At least two years of experience in quality assurance or control, preferably in call center or health insurance industry
Bachelor’s Degree (work experience may be counted in lieu of the degree requirement)

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous analytical experience and knowledge of healthcare and/or insurance operations
Experience working in the Health Insurance industry, Health Insurance exchanges, or Medicaid

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Adept at queries, report writing and presentation of findings
Solid statistical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Understand requirements of business and develop reports to fit business requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle confidential company information
Demonstrated exceptional organization, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
Proven ability to understand business and operations issues and objectives, as well as the ability to translate them into applied solutions
Basic understanding of the ACA and Individual Marketplaces
Ability to handle and protect confidential information
Creative, responsive, and adaptive in a dynamic environment
Advanced aptitude in problem solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework.
High proficiency in advanced functions of Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office applications
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Team player with strong work ethic and positive attitude
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build strong collaborative relationships
A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations, providing guidance and documentation.  
Demonstrated experience in the insurance industry with a customer focus.  
Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.  
Demonstrated ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and shifting priorities.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. Pay: $58,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
