QC Lab Technician (4705)
Location: Baytown, Tx
Position Summary:
The QC Lab Technician is responsible for analyzing routine samples in a production environment.
Essential Functions:
Deliver accurate and timely results for analytical testing
Participate on projects and with various teams for optimal laboratory performance and compliance
Utilize various analytical instruments for sample analysis including but not limited to: GC, LC, Raman Spectroscopy, and IR
Setting up and maintaining Lab instruments and LIMS is a plus
Utilize LIMS system for data entry and reporting
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Perform data analysis and review, control charting, report generation, and presentation of data
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry or similar
3-5 years full-time industrial lab experience required
Skills and Abilities:
Must have strong written and oral communication skills
Must be able to multi-task effectively
Strong organization skills required
Must have strong analytical skills
Must be self-motivated
Type of Assignment:
Temp-Hire
Shift Schedule:
Rotating DuPont Schedule
Salary:
$25/hr + dependent on experience and qualifications.
