We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial laboratory setting and a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting scientific research and quality control processes, ensuring that all laboratory operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols.
Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis and maintain accurate records of results.
Perform quality control checks to ensure the integrity of laboratory results.
Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to track samples and data.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory environment.
Collaborate with research teams on various projects, providing technical support as needed.
Stay updated on new laboratory techniques and advancements in scientific research.
Qualifications
Experience working in an industrial or research laboratory environment is preferred.
Familiarity with quality control processes and laboratory techniques is essential.
Knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting procedures and results.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is advantageous.
A background in scientific research or research development will be beneficial.
